In collaboration with UF CityLab, School of Architecture, this one-of-a-kind educational experience is designed to bring together architecture students, design professionals, and material experts for a deeper, hands-on understanding of how materials shape the built environment.
This immersive program will expose emerging architects to a wide array of materials and finishes, exploring how they are specified, applied, and experienced in real-world projects. Whether in homes, hospitals, resorts, or entertainment venues, materials are the touchpoints of design—and this exposé is about unlocking their creative and technical potential.
With only 40 spots available—20 for students and 20 for sponsoring professionals—this unique collaboration fosters mentorship and innovation. The program is hosted at Select Surface Solutions in Orlando, FL, a premier resource for decorative and restorative materials.
